Reset subaru touch screen

Trying to avoid bringing it to the dealership for a entertainment unit, I'm looking to reset the system to factory settings and see if maybe it's just a little mixed up. When plugged in to the console, the phone will inevitably lockup and restart. I believe this has something to do with the Bluetooth connectivity at the same time as USB connection.
