An Alabama woman went viral earlier this year after she bought a designer wedding dress at Goodwill that was worth more than $6,000 for $25. Now, she finally has an opportunity to wear the dress as she got engaged this week. Back in September, Emmali Osterhoudt, 21, stumbled across a Galia Lahav wedding dress for $25 at a Goodwill.

As someone who works at Goodwill, this is only done to the pulled dresses. This means the dresses that didn’t sell (in my district colors rotate over 5 weeks) within the color timeframe are pulled off the shelves to be with recycled textiles.
