2011 Chevy Equinox timing chain/engine replacement. I took my 2011 Equinox (107,000 miles) in a few months ago because it was rocking back and forth while idling. The mechanic found multiple concerns with the engine and recommended an engine replacement. I attached their quote, $8000 for used engine or $9300 for remanufactured engine.The marks on the phasers should be in the right position ( intake at 2ish and exhaust at 10ish on a clock)not the chain marks Make sure correct chain and phasers.
